Will she be ready by March?? from Njord's Noatun 1/18/2007 7:10:59 PM (6 comments) Login to Add a CommentI've posted a couple of 'before' pictures of the inside of my boat. It's still a work-in-progress, and with winter in full-swing, it's kind of difficult to work on her in the bitter cold...

What kind of work do you need to get her ready? From the picture, at a distance, of course, she looks great and ready to go!

She looks good, yes, but I've never actually launched her. I bought the Nordica from a man in Florida. He only owned it about 6 months..he bought it from a man in Canada...then, gave it a nice paint job, put on a new motor, and sold it to me. :) I bought the boat in August, and have spent the last 5 months repairing leaks, windows, drain plugs that just snapped off, etc, etc. :) Thanks for asking. I'll try to post some pictures of the inside soon. --Christine.

I'm working the new Projects section, as you may have noticed. Once it's ready, I'd love for you to post the restoration projects you've done. I'm planning to have something ready by Wednesday so that you'll have the ability to post projects yourself.

Ok, Camelot...I'll look for the 'New Projects' section. Thanks for the heads-up. ...Christine.

I just bought a Nordica 20 in November. What is the story behind the leaks and bad drain plugs? I have not yet sailed mine (or had it out in a good rain) and would like to know where to expect trouble. BTW you can get cloth hull liner that would look great to cover your walls. I anticipate pulling the old "astro-turf" off of the walls soon. It looks like yours has already been prep'd for a nicer looking wall liner.
